I'm wondering if someone could give me some advice regarding removing two very minor dings in the boot. One is at the top near the badge and the other is directly below, at the bottom of the boot lid (see circled photos).

I have attached photos and tried to capture them in the most clear angles I could, They are pretty unnoticeable from some angles and completely obvious from others - my issue being I cannot 'unsee' them and feel they ruin the beautifully smooth rear end of the GP's (y)

No paint damage at all, so I'm hoping for an easy fix, I have tried a dent puller from Amazon but didn't have too much luck.

Do you think I would be able to remove the boot trim and push 'em out? If so, does anyone have any tips for the best approach, would I need to warm the body up or whatever first.

Any advice is much appreciated... I am a complete novice!

PS. ignore the horribly faded rear badge.. The replacement has arrived!

Cheers!

You're quite lucky it's a smooth surface, not an edge !

You can try straightening the dents with an hot air gun, heat the area in a circled shape and then cool it rapidly with a compressed-air blasting can held upside-down to allow liquid air (very cold) to get out the can.
Lots of videos on Utube, google heat-gun dent removal and you'l see miracles happening !

Thanks for the response! I'll give that a shot for sure this weekend and report back.

Would you think boiling water could be used instead of a hot air gun? I live in a third floor flat and powering my girlfriend's hairdryer may prove tricky in the car park haha!

The trick is to heat the metal regularly and from center to outside of the area to be straightened and then to cool it down as fast as possible.
Not sure you can achieve this with boiling water but hey, who knows, you'll maybe post a Tuto on U-tube with your method !! It's worth a try, let us know your findings ...

Watch 20 youtube videos on "paintless dent repair" then remove the inside panel to get access into the hatch then make some tools wooden, plastic pry-bars and get to work
