Hey guys I have a GP tjet 2009

and believe my drive shafts are bad. (Need to do a full inspection)

But my question is do you need to buy a left and a right one? Or could you buy 2 lefts or 2 rights? As I fail to see how these parts specific sided orientated?

Any help would be great

I think although not sure that NS is shorter

Thanks ben. I have had a look and it appears, the passenger is the typical short drive shaft but the drivers side, is the same but with an extra long shaft, so its not a matter of left and right, as you can only get certain parts for left and right sides.

Hi Emmerson,

in theory both CV shafts should have the same length, so they would be equally angled to avoid reaction in the steering wheel. This is the reason why they've fit an intermediate shaft on the 'long' side...
That doesn't mean they are identical though...

Yeah they sort of do but the driver side is a type of extra long one 20170720_201928.jpeg20170720_201917.jpeg
