Hello, gp 1.3 multijet 90hp 6speed manual.
I have hesitation low power under 2k rpm.
No fault codes and i decided to check maf sensor values according to elearn process.
Idle with cold engine 28,8kg/h wich the max limit according to elearn should be 22 kg/h
With light throttle maf readings are increasing but falls back to 28.8 instantly with steady throttle.
If the engine is warm, maf readings increasing until a point and stay steady.
According to elearn when you leave the throttle you should have 25-35kg/h and i have 28.8 but it's the same as it was tested in idle with fresh start in the engine and without touching the accelerator pedal. What do you think?
I will change maf anyway but what do you think. Is it necessary to be changed?

It's likely down to a dirty or partially blocked EGR. That's why you'll be seeing a difference in value. My suggestion would be to clean the EGR and try again

Quick update. I changed maf sensor and values are correct. I swap immediately with the old one and readings were false.
Now with new maf throttle response until 2k rpm seems better. I will post again in the following days to see if hesitation is gone. Also egr according to technician is working ok.
Anyway not bad for 11 years old maf.

So a new MAF sensor fixed your issue?
