Hi

So, I've only been driving about 3 months (even though I'm older ;) )and bought my first car just after passing. It's an 09 Punto Grande 1.2 and is a lovely wee car. The heater/cooler fan inside was working fine and then about two weeks ago seemed to develop a problem. Previously, when on setting 4 I could hear and feel air coming out. Now, I can't hear or feel the air coming out very much. If I set it to just blow out of the footwall I can kind of feel the air but only faintly.

I've done some searching and have found similar problems, but nothing quite the same. I am going to check fuses but wonder if anyone has any other suggestions of simple things I could check and maybe fix myself (or with a little help).

Thanks :D

Find the fan housing in the passenger foot well and locate the wiring going to the fan, try and disconnect it or just fiddle with it and see if the fan works, They are inclined to overheat and burn the connections.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try that before taking it into the garage
