I Have tried so may different 'Canbus Free Led Bulbs' but none worked they all brought the pesky error, but i finally found a good solution which look great, are plug and play and are relatively inexpensive.

You buy a pack of 10 bulbs ill include the link below you can also use these for your boot light which brings no error up so just pop one in there and you'll have 5 spare

Here are the item numbers on eBay

Bulbs

151224509887

Plug and play resistors ( you have to purchase 2 lots so you have 4)

251749536083

This is really easy and transforms the look of your car, you can obviously make these resistors yourself but for the sake of a tenner plug they fit well why bother

Just ordered those resistors.

Been toying with the idea of those exact ones, but good to see someone actually using them so eBay has a sale!

Cheers buddy :)
Great stuff! They really do fit well and look outstanding made my car look so much newer and obviously cooler To be honest the standard fittings that fiat use are loose whilst these are rubber and fit very well, anyone would think I am selling them

They also make your car illegal

Hello, many modern cars have these now and as long as they are white and are the right brightness these will pass an Mot faultless and the police can see your plate even easier

Technically unless they are approved and (E) marked they are illegal. True the MOT is unlikely to pick it up (not what it's for) but not getting caught for speeding doesn't mean you didn't break the law

While unlikely for number plate lights, the biggest issue with un-approved modifications is that they almost certainly invalidate your insurance. Some insurance companies will do anything to refuses a claim and this is a prima-facie failure to meet roadworthiness. Sure they have to pay out the third party claim, but that doesn't stop them coming after you to get the money back (plus their costs).
