Hey guys another post from yours truly. Sorry if been answered b4 but I would say issue is slightly different.

I have a Grande punto Tjet 2009.

Today I took it out for a drive and noticed a smell of... Cheesy feet lol, when I got in the driver seat. I lifted up the bonnet and felt I could smell it from engine bay.

I went for drive and went I put on cold heating due to being sunny I could smell it through vents? ( I'll attach picture of how I had my heating setup on to smell it).

I no.your probe thinking it's just ur feet lol but seriously it appeared to be.from car

Bacteria build-up in the heater area ??

Smells like cheese, looks like cheese, feels like cheese,... must be cheese (replace cheese by what you prefer) ;-)

I think I have solved the issue but I think it's my water in screen wash reservoir it smells, seems to have gone stagnant . Going to spray it all out and out in proper screenwash

If you'd described the smell as 'Tom Cat's urine' I would have said that your 'cat' har har .. the catalytic converter - was overheating and on its way out.
