Hello Everyone,
Just to put it in perspective of what car i drive: 2006 Fiat Grande Punto 8v 77bhp.
So i've recently bought and fitted some new performance lowered springs 40-45mm front and 30mm rear and they've been properly fitted my a mechanic. But there seems to be an issue. When i drive my car, yes the handling has improved and feels closer to the ground which is what i wanted, but there seems to be a rattle around the wheel arches where the suspension is.
Has anyone had this issue when fitting new springs? Is it the fact i need new top strut mounts and bearings? or new shocks? or all of the above?
i've asked in a few other places and i haven't been given any answers to this.
Also if i get new shocks could i just buy a new pair of the stock grande punto shocks or would i have to go for performance shocks?
Hopefully someone can help.
Thanks and look forward to any feedback.
