I've got a grande punto dynamic sport. I want to change the rims and possibly wrap the car anyone have any advice to keep my insurance low like any good companies to go with? If i bought a grey car and wrapped it in a satin grey would that count as changing the colour and would i have to declare it?
Also any visual mods i can make which won't affect my premium would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Changes of shade or finish don't have to be reported to DVLA as a color change. Grey is grey to them (I wonder what they put on the Polo Harlequin registration ?).
Any visual change should be reported to your insurer in theory, only they know where the line between reportable and un-reportable so you should ask your insurer what is reportable or not. Likewise only your insurer will know if a given modification or change will result in a incresed premium. Members here can only report their experiences but you can't make decisions on that. I've had insurance companies who did not charge for significant modifications, but my current policy says they will not allow any modifications.

Multi-colour ! That opens a lot of possibilities (and potential discussions ;-)

Keep on the nice spirit ! Regards, Bernie
