I have a coolant leaking (so far I find coolant under the car, but no visible emptying on the expansion tank) on a t-jet, it seems to be coming somewhere from the heat exchanger, the heat insulation seems to be soaked in it. This is how far I got so far, cannot see more, and do not see an obvious place where the source is. Any help / common known leaks in this are are appreciated. For example, is the main water pipe sealed with an o-ring? This was giving way quite often on my Cinq.

Which heat exchanger...??

Heater MATRIX.. for cabin heater

Further info: it seems to be happening only over night when the car gets really cold, I was trying to chase it all day long yesterday and as long as I drove it no drips were under car, I checked later in the evening after it stood there for some hours, still nothing. But this morning again a small puddle underneath the heat exchanger. Any ideas? Seems not be pressure related, but material shrinking due to coldness.

What do you guys think? Could this be it? It was wet and it's all corroded from coolant (though the drip on the picture is from brake cleaner). What is the hole from, is there something missing there (the thread deeper inside looks too fresh to me). Any thoughts welcome.

Quiz: what is wrong with this picture? Consequently, am I right in thinking that this could cause a leak in combination with age and corrosion?
