Starting a thread build on my GP at last.

Target - 200whp. fully stripped and braced. please follow, this is going to be interesting

I have had the common lowered GP driveshaft problem as i bought the car on standard suspension, so once i lowered it on coilovers and took it to the nurburgring, only then did it go pop coming out of the carousell

I have added a few more parts to this car since....

BOLA B10 ALLOYS ON TOYO (T1S FRONT)(T1R REAR)


I have located the new injectors and cams that i want to fit soon so just having to wait for the funds to be available

Sounds like a nice list of mods there! Can't view photos on the forum at work because the website is banned however I'm sure it looks great being a GP. For that BHP goal I'm assuming you're running the multi-jet diesel engine? Would be impressed if you could get that out of a 1.4 T-Jet!

Fancy taking my GP to the Nurburgring as a road trip from the UK, but think I should save up for a AGP or T-Jet/Multi-Jet instead of my measly 1.4l 8v nat asp.

Photo of the engine bay would be interesting, would be a great view for when I get home. Nice work though!

So we mocked up the fmic yesterday, little bit of cutting, and prepping the mounts for it.
Just got to weld two flat steel plates under the crash brace is so the IC sits straight.
But for now the standard one is back on whilst the custom pipes are ordered.

Also whilst the front end was off I cleaned up the horrible grilles and fitted my self folded mesh ones.

So the injectors that i had a bosch part number for are now not available, so..... anyone have an idea or number for a decent set of injectors that i can upgrade to?

Got the intercooler fitted and any pics of the process? Ready with brackets and reducer hoses but any help is great [emoji111]?️

So it's been a few weeks and some last minute prep was in need for autoitalia.
The wheel arches have finally turned up from Russia, so once work was finished I poped on the H&R TRAX+ spacers (60mm per axle) and test fitted the arches with some tape.
I like the stance I'm just not sure if painting them white is going to be a good idea [emoji51] so I will fit them black first and go from there.


With autoitalia looming I decided it was time to get off my arse and sort the front end out.
So..... to pieces it came [emoji23]


Radiator and intercooler was resprayed black just to neaten it all up.
Also got underneath with a wire brush and cleared any crap out before I undersealed it.


The front bumper has taken a complete beating this last few months, temporary respray was in order just to make it look acceptable. [emoji23]

Few more odd jobs to do in the next few days.... will keep it posted

Do you have a link for them? are they punto specific or universal:worship:

Fitted the spacers and stuck the arches on using 3M patches just to see how it sits.
From certain angles I like it however from some angles I dont.
I really need to double the depth of the rear spacers to sit flush with the edge of the arch, but that means 60mm spacer per wheel. And I'm not keep on that happening [emoji23]
May have to rethink all this now
