Hi, i am looking to place fog lights for my fiat grande punto, and have seen the guide, however i don't particually want a different switch, and can source a button pannel and fog lights from a breaking fiat, so my question is this; is the wiring harness for fog lights installed on all fiats, or will i still have to fiat my own?
If you have any pictures of behind the light adjustment pannel it would be appriciated.
Cheers or any advice
Your humble fiat owner George

Hi Marrio & All, I just registered a few hours ago since I found this Forum very interesting... I am already happy to bring my first stone ; is this what you are looking for ?? It's from a Grande Punto III 1.3 MJT, as I am on the continent (Belgium) it's left seat driven...

Not sure the picture will get attached though, if not I will have to contact a moderator to help me...

Cheers, Bernie

Almost! i don't suppose you could take a picture of the connectors on the blue cable? and does your punto have front fogs?

Thanks so much, and welcome too

Hi Marrio, I will try to remove the switch panel (picture taken with SP "in situ" and unlatch the blue connector tomorrow morning; and YES, my GP is equipped with front fog lights. Anything else you'd need ??

Cheers, Bernie

No, but thats fantastic Bernie, i suppose the panel just comes off with a new clips? If you can't see don't worry, but thanks anyway, you're awesome!
Cheers
George

Hi Marrio, had the chance to go down my garage ;-) here is (I hope) what you asked for; sounds like you need a seven wire harness.

Cheers, Bernie

Hi Georges, I guess you're from UK ? To remove the panel, you have to pry it off (be convincing enough) from the bottom , the retaining clips are located on the right edge (toward the wheel) the opposite side (toward door) got a notch that might break if you try to remove the thingy from that side !

Cheers, Bernie

Awesome, the pictures are just what i need, and the instructions will be super useful when i come to remove the panel.
Cheers again!

Hi George,

sorry for the delay, had problems with my gmail account... Here are the loom tag pictures, nothing like what you said :-( Would have been strange though since my GP is left driven...

Cheers, Bernie

I'll see if i have anything similar to that as it may be useful, however the code on mine was on the blue connector itself.
No worries about the late reply, you're doing me a massive favour anyway.

Cheers
George

Mornin' George, when GP is back (Wife went to work) I will remove that panel and check the connector #.
As I said in an earlier reply, You'll need a seven wires loom and also probably write in the (body or dashboard ?) ECU to enable the fog lights...
I'll be back on air when I got the picture(s)

Regards, Bernie
