Afternoon all
I've been playing around with some data logging on the GP to determine if i have a knackered thermostat (which it is, so needs replacing), and while doing that, something caught my attention. Namely the boost pressure.
Most cars i've driven limit the boost in 1st or 2nd gear on full throttle to prevent gearbox strain and improve grip when accelerating, but my GP gives 1.2 bar boost steady at full throttle through all 6 gears (and yes i know, full throttle in 1st is a stupid idea, but this was just a test).
Does the GP 1.9 Multijet 130 have a boost limiter in first or second gear? If they do, then i'm wondering if mine has been remapped in a past life?
