Hi i was wondering if anyone is able to help me out,

The usb slot that i have being using has stopped working and i have no idea what to do, i use the blue and me adapter and that does not work anymore either. When i plug my phone in through the cigerate lighter it charges but it does not through the main Blue & Me USB.

I have all the recent updates applied and have no idea what else could be the issue thanks.

Plug it back into the USB port, then press the B&M voice command button on your steering wheel, and say "PLAY" after the beep. This might kick it back into life

I don't think the B&M socket is supposed to charge a phone. Unless something changed with later GPs and B&M.

Many smartphones are very amp demanding, and from memory the B&M socket in the glovebox has a minimal amp rating. It's a data port, not a charging socket.

has worked at charging for 4 years in my 2012,

Not present on all GPs, and the year/model of the vehicle hasn't been specified.

Mind you, the OP hasn't specified which phone either or whether it's been changed recently, or if something else has changed such as the cable used for charging or whether another cable has been tried. A failing cable could work in one position (e.g. the cigarette lighter) but not another (the B&M port) if the orientation is different and the cable flexes differently because of that.
