Hi, can anyone tell me if the latch mechanism on a 3 door 07 plate punto grande is the same as a 5 door?

Its the same but the cable attaching to the unit is off different length. I'm not sure if the cable can be removed from the lock unit easily or not though.

Thanks for that...I only need to replace the latch, so should be able to use the existing cable from the door handle to the latch...is that right?

Update:I have just finished replacing the door latch on a 3 door, using a 5 door latch and it works perfectly...the only issue was the length of the cable which is simple enough to change.

How did you go about changing it? The cable seems to go right into the unit, so you need to dismantle the unit too?

Sorry for the late reply, but I just kind of wiggled a flat screwdriver in the gaps and pulled and it came out ( white plastic bit and all), then just pushed the longer cable back in.
