Basically, I am currently having a problem involving a plume of blue smoke and sudden loss of power, which is regained after a second or so.

I will be driving the car and it will be driving fine (Not as responsive as when i first had it) but then when i'm cruising for example: in like third gear and around 2k rev or come to a stop. I will try to accelerate and sometimes (Happens daily) there will be a sudden plume of blue smoke out the exhaust and then little/very slow response in terms of acceleration, which is then regained after a second or so.

I must point out that I had to get the Turbo replaced about 2 months ago because it went... The pipes and feeds leading into the Turbo were cleaned of oil so I don't believe that it would be any of those, however my judgement could be wrong.

I fear that whatever it is, it is still ruining the turbo. There are droplets of oil on the drive but that could be due to me filling it up and spilling a little bit.

Please feel free to throw any suggetions at me.
Cheers Reece.

Looks like a bad turbo. When was the BOV fitted? It could be the root cause of the problem, causing the turbo to overspeed.
I doubt anyone would cover the turbo with a BOV fitted.

the blow off valve was fitted literally a year ago. I have been told by another mechanic to try connecting back up the re circ to see if it makes a difference which I may do now from your comment. I have just ordered a 90 degree silicone hose due to the pipe pinching under the bonnet so I may as well give it a try.
Cheers
