Hi all,

Bit of a long-shot here but hoping someone has had a similar issue and so might be able to give me a rough idea of what the problem is and potential cost I am looking at.

The other day, I tried to exit via the driver door and heara ‘crack’ when I pulled the door handle. The door then wouldn’t open, and I hadto wind-down the window and undo the door from the outside. Having done this,the door then would not shut properly. After a lot of fiddling with the lock, Iwas just about able to get the door shut and lock it from the Driver side.

I still cannot open the door from the inside, as it soundsand feels like the handle is in some way no longer connected to the lock. Ihaven’t tried opening from the outside, because I do not want to do so until Iam off next week and can get to a garage, just in case I can’t close it again.For now, I will stick with climbing across passenger seat etc!

Not going to lie, it looks a bit beyond my capability so looks like a trip to the garage unfortunately. Big thanks to you for your help though
