I am adapting a Grande Punto power steering to my custom built race car and require wiring diagram to understand how to control the assistance.

The unit is from a Grande Punto 2007 1.3 diesel.

Obvious two main terminals are power, but what do the 10 terminal plug (2rows of 5) pins do?

There are some files in the download section that may have diagrams. The system does connect to the cars data bus system and may not work correctly if it's not receiving the data it expects.

Usual trick used by the kit car fraternity and other modifiers is to use the Corsa B system. Never heard of anyone using the GP one - sorry

Out of interest what are you planning to do with the power steering?

Auto test car, front wheel drive, with a 2:1 step up ratio.
I don't have forearms like Popeye, so need some steering assistance and happen to have a GP one.

Bumping this question up and my first post for forum at the same time. I have same sitsuation. Trying to get punto pas to work on "wrong" car, which is e30 bmw, racer, not ever gona see road again, only racing. So with punto (-04) PAS wiring, what wires does it need from that 10 pin connector, or how to hack it to work, please help?
