Hi guys,

Today I stopped at the shops on my way back from work, when I started up my gp again the instrument cluster stopped working. Showing: empty fuel tank, airbag light on, hill holder light on and handbrake light on while I was driving. Also the rev meter and the speedometer stopped working. After shutting and starting again it didnt work but after I left it off for 20 mins and tried again it came back alive. I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem and if so how they repaired it. A new instrument cluster is very pricey

How was the weather? The fuse boxes can get wet and it causes mayhem with the electrics.

It had rained quite a bit earlier but it was dry when it started happening.

Sorry for the late reply, was abroad with no data ?

Will be selling the car soon, now the transmission is starting to not transfer between gears and the car just revs upto the red line with no power going to the wheels ? the amount ive put into the car has become too much

Definitely check out both the fuse box and the ECU for damp
