I managed to get hold of a second hand hi-fi system for the grande punto. Just wondered how to fit it in the boot.

The plug was already sitting behind the carpet so all I need is a way of fitting the sub securely.

Is there some sort of fitting kit that I can buy to fix it in place? I know some people have just used Velcro to hold it in place but, is this substantial enough to hold it in place and won't fall off when driving?

Anyone who has retrofitted this or knows anybody that has could please comment or advise me, it would be appreciated!

Use some fairly expensive velcro mate, 3M make some very sticky stuff.. It does the job perfectly.

Is that what you did then Alex? No issues? Just don't want it coming off and breaking it!

I used velcro, makes life a lot easier and works perfectly!
