Any one tell me why my immobiliser light came one today after I swerved out the way of a big puddle the car dint cut out or any thing all the power was there still when I got home pulled up thinking once I turn the car off that it not start again with the immobiliser light being on but luckily when I put the key back in the light had gone .... could any one help

It's more than likely just a bug in the system can happen sometimes to be on the safe side though I would check the transponder in the key basically it's a little microchip in the key than the immobiliser picks the signal up on to disarm these can often come out of there slot or get partially damaged over time as keys get dropped and that kind of thing so might just be worth checking

Will be having a look tomorrow my car only come with one key n the person said that if they wanted the key with the buttons for the central locking that it was a extra :/ that bull I know as I told him that but why would it only come on after I hit a bit of a puddle on the other hand anu chance you know how much a new key with the central locking buttons on be ?

Classic electrical problem. Make sure the fusebox is dry, earth cables in good condition and charging voltage normal.
