I've got a 59 plate 1.6 multijet and had it about 8 months now and i have noticed about every 6 to 8 weeks I get a cloud of smoke/ stream coming out of the exhaust for 2 to 3 seconds then it just goes and doesn't reappear for another 6 to 8 weeks. It doesn't use any oil or water and runs fine. Anyone got any idea what could be happening.

Are you sure it's not a build up of soot from the exhaust just clearing itself. It needs a good booting!
