Technical Gearbox rebuild ??
I'm goign to WG Motorworks on the Isle of Sheppey next month to have my bearings replaced for £600, driving a similar distance from Nottingham to get there but worth it in my opinion to use a specialist! Have a Google, they seem pretty reputable (obviously I can't say until the job has been done!)

Try MCG garages

Yes, they've rebuild my GPA gearbox, not had any problems since... (although car now sold, different reasons). Whining completely gone, I was very happy.. Set aside 3-4 hours and dress warmly, you'll sit in the garage to wait!
Cheers for the advice. Booked in for half 8 and expecting to be out before midday, he's done over 500 M32s already! Hoping the weather warms up a bit between now and then
