hi all im new to the grande punto I use to have a seicento but I got my grande punto with o/s rear damage nothing to bad got that all fixed now but ive had a weird like wobble on o/s front it feels like so ive changed wishbones drop links ball jonits put new wheels on change tyres add new wheels balanced but still got this weird wobble feel an also when I go round a roundabout it make a funny screeching noise any help would be much appreciated as I lv the car nice all round thanks dexter

So would it be better to change both drive shafts as I work at motor hog

Also, jack it up and support it firmly, then slowly turn each wheel with a pointer against the rim and see if you've got a bent stub axle.

Cheers I do this on week end if I get it aliment adjusted would that tell me if anything bent

Hi sorry to be a pain but I've change the drive shafts and I'm still getting like a wobble I think my next step is to have aliment done see if anything is bent I really Love my Grande punto but it's getting me down that I can't pin point What is up with it could engine mounts make it feel like this

As suggested you have checked the wheels?

Try swapping wheels and tyres front and back

I've done that and I've add new tyre put on I'm really losing interest with it an it a shame as I really love the car

Check wheel hubs.

I've check when jacked up an try to move but there is no movement it's really a strange thing could steering rack be at fault

Does the noise change with speed?

No sounds like cv joint noise but with like a wobble

Could engine mounts make it feel like its got a wobble

Good thought. Have you checked the gearbox mount under the back of the box? They're well known for rotting and causing noises while driving

I will get new ones an try that see if it works

Hi sorry for long reply I'm busy planning my wedding for next year I've changed everything on the front apart from wheel bearing,disc,rack and power steering motor still getting a wired wobble or something
