I've had a Google, and searched on here too, but I can't seem to find anyone with the exact issue I have.

I'll keep it brief. Wound the passenger side window down a bit the other day, now it won't go back up. It won't even try. Winds down from both driver's and passenger's side switches, but won't wind up on either.

Any ideas?

Hi, sounds like it COULD be a motor sensor..,

BUT try and move it UP with somebody holding the glass between gloved palms ( door open..)

IF it moves with a little help.. then worth stripping out of door to check for cable / guide damage/wear,

Charlie

Check the wiring loom in the drivers door. common fault is that cables break where the plugs in at the door hinges.

I had exactly the same problem, passenger window would go down but not up and the fault was the loom in drivers door

I've got both cards and membranes off but I can't see a fault anywhere. Had the multimeter out and the motor isn't getting any voltage to wind it up. Down is displaying a healthy and steady 12v (ish). Up it gets to 0.2 for a second then drops back to zero. I don't have a great deal of time to keep searching, so am I going to do any damage by giving the motor 12v off a bench supply/donor battery just to et it back up? It's half way down right now and I can't really go anywhere!

Have you checked the cables in the rubber gromit between door and hinge pillar? Chances are a cable has broken.
