My gps 1.9m-jet is making a whooshing noise when accelerating and under load and not real loss of power, I have checked for any obvious issues with loose hoses but can't see anything out of place. Anybody had issues of this sort or know what's wrong?

You checked the 90 degree pipe at the top see if got a hole in it or any other air pipes?

I have a similar problem but it's only over 3k revs but sounds as if it's coming from the rear end and more of a scream ??

Thanks. Turns out it was a spilt hose, it was sucking in dirty air and clogged the egr

Glad you sorted it. Which hose was it and did you clean the egr calve why you was there?

It was the hose from the turbo to the inter cooler. Yes I cleaned the egg valve as well and it's running smoother and more responsive than before I had the issue

Hi , im having the same issues. Did you replace the 90 degree pipe under the turbo before it connects the the hard plastic pipe or was it the one on the other end of the hard plastic pipe before it connects to the intercooler.
Reason im asking is ive just replaced the 90 degree pipe and its still making the wooshing noise.

I didn't do it, a friend of mine that is a mechanic did. He just said the hose from the turbo to the intercooler. Sorry I can't be of more help
