So yeah, it's my first car. Had it about a month but unfortunately the v62 and v10 forms for me to get the v5c keep getting lost in the post. So I'm not taxed on it yet so I can't drive it.

I want to know what you guys think of it as it is now. What you would add/remove. Bear in mind my only income is off being part time bar staff so cheaper things would be considered first :D

Really just want a strong list of things to add as a project.
Also any tips on being a new car owner will be appreciated (i know nothing) and don't hesitate to tell me things that won't be worth it/should wait a while for.

And btw for some reason the pictures make the car look a bit purple. I can assure you it's a metallic light blue. You may not see it but the rear bumper on the right side is caved in a bit. Anyone with knowledge on how to sort that out easily gets a cookie. Although I'm sure I'll just need a new one, lol.

Anyone with Photoshop skills should also feel free to do whatever.

Hey mate, the cheap and easy stuff that people usually start with (including myself) are a badgless grill and wind deflectors. You're looking at about £30ish each unless you want a branded grill. I picked up a stubby sports antenna for cheap too.

I think if you flyeyed your headlights it would really set the car off with it being a light colour. That's a pretty cheap mod.

You might want to look at getting some alloy wheels too. You can pick up the standard active sports alloys for pretty cheap but they're only 15". Alot of people go for a set of 17s.

More on the expensive side you could look at maybe fitting a sporting spoiler and side skirts. Also maybe look at lowering it in the future? I would hold off for now though because that's something you should declare to your insurance. It's pretty costy with fitting so maybe that's something to save up for.

Sorry for the long ramble :p Hope you get the tax sorted soon!

Ramble all you want haha I could use any and all info :D.

Badgeless grille... Could I not just take the badge off the one I have haha? Wind deflectors are definitely on my list.
I seen the thread on this about stickering the interior. That's probably gonna be my first project cause it looks cool as ****.

Tbh the thing I dislike most about the body is the front bumper, not a fan of the rounded look. But I can see something like that costing a bomb. In all honesty idk why some things are so expensive like wind deflectors. £30 for some bits of plastic seems extortionate, unless I'm missing something about them. I'm also looking at removing the "punto" logo from the back. The way the P looks like someone driving is pretty cringy.

What you could do with the front bumper which someone put pics up of before i will tag them in a minute is remove front number plate and lower it. Cable tie it through the lower front grill. Then get some black vinyl and cover the middle plastic bit and cut edges of so it lines it all up. Gives a much meaner look to it

AestheticGrande HarryS18 hope you dont mind me using your pics :)

Pretty sure ive tagged them right. You can see what i mean about the bumper number plate position on the one pic. And the black vinyl on the other pic. You could also put a tow strap. All very cheap off ebay

Very good idea! Kudos to who thought of that. These are the ideas I like, cheap, simple and looks good! I'm gonna buy some vinyl to decorate the interior. Could I still use exterior vinyl on the inside as well? Or should I buy one roll that's tailored for the exterior and a different one for interior? Looking at black carbon fibre which would suit both.

Personally i would just buy exterior vinyl and use it inside aswell. Cant see what difference there would be

So I had a look around Amazon and seen these:

[ame]http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0060K768S/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?qid=1435961905&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX110_SY165&keywords=vinyl+car+wrap&dpPl=1&dpID=51QHmJhDIIL&ref=plSrch[/ame]

[ame]http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00JWKEMKS/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1435961451&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX200_QL40&keywords=Silver+vinyl+car+wrap&dpPl=1&dpID=51aav1Ku7RL&ref=plSrch[/ame]

I was thinking the black one for the large bit that circles round the radio and the silver one to go where the greyish stripes are.

I also seen this : [ame]http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B005L9BS24/ref=mp_s_a_1_15?qid=1435960715&sr=8-15&pi=AC_SX200_QL40&keywords=Fiat+punto+grille&dpPl=1&dpID=51xzElNVrkL&ref=plSrch[/ame]

Not sure how well that would work and I would obviously get a different colour. Thoughts?

Here's a few more pics, haven't actually done anything to it yet :D

Like you said, cheap and simple mods is your best best to start off with, and be really creative also. Being a little different is sometimes better :)

So for the inside vinyl, it doesn't really matter what you get as long as you don't get the real cheap and nasty stuff, they leave a horrible adhesive residue and don't stick very well! ImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1435970606.234682.jpg
Got this roll of vinyl from eBay :)

Looking forward to your future mods

You could get a front air dam. Fiat made them as optional extras and they look absolutely fantastic imo. Changes the shape of the front bumper. But they're not cheap in the slightest :(. I want one for mine but they're £180 then they have to sprayed and fitted.

Sorry to join in, but this is a close up of Badgless grille and vinyl

Very nice, could someone link me a decent badgeless grille? Also I was looking at alloys on the fiat website. why do alloys cost 700 to 900 quid on there XD?

First aid kit..

Fire extinguisher..

High VIZ vest...

Tow rope..

Jump leads....

Small hand tools...

Warning triangle....

Spare bulb kit. ..

Life hammer..

Used all the above in the past 15 years or so of driving ..... Just remember insurance companies will take young drivers from behind if they alter their cars from original specification

Forgot dash camera and bottle of water...... And bits of reflective vinyl in the door shuts.

Been a bar worker your more than likely going to be driving to and from work at silly o'clock and your car parked In a pub car park and seen leaving at closing time it pays to keep it clean and tidy...

I had a wpc tear up a ticket years ago when I first started driving .. I got pulled for a bulb out I had the bulb and tools to change it on the spot and got commended for having the extinguisher vest and first aid kit as I was a "responsible young lad " as she 'looked Round the car' :D
