Hi,

I've fitted a JVC Head Unit to my 07 GP and mostly all works fine, but of course the steering wheel buttons are not connected.
I've read the various guides and threads but am not sure of what is the best / lowest cost solution to connecting the steering wheel buttons? The Head Unit has a remote input connector, so I'm guessing that I need some kind of adaptor between that & the can bus connections, but is that the only way?

Thanks

Hi you will need a stalk adapter. You can get the adapter and patch cable from https://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/fia...-adaptor-phone-button-support-ctsfa004-2.html this one will allow you to use the phone button as well. Can get the non phone version as well (same part number but no .2 on the end). The patch cable needs be the correct version (two versions for JVC). These connect in the head unit and cars wiring (should get instructions on what to do)

Many thanks for the info, looks to be about £35 for the non phone version. As my steering wheel has no phone button, this would be the way to go.
Somehow I was hoping there would be a simpler (cheaper) way to do this, my left arm still works well enough but I can't deny that I'd got used to using the buttons with the Fiat radio.
