Apologies for this very basic question.
My son has a Punto 1.4 2011 and my daughter a Corsa D 1.2 2007
The Corsa is about to be sold/auctioned but the spare in the boot has never been used.

I would like to swap these over so the Punto has this new wheel and the Corsa the the rusty Punto Spare
Corsa Tyre size 185/70/14 et39
Punto 175/65/15 et?

I know from the net these will swap Ok but what about the HUB.
Will the 4 hole hubs fit ?
I cannot try this my myself as both vehicles are not in my possession as both parties live away
If they would fit, I could just tell them to swap them over

Thanks for the info, its a great help
I will get my offspring to change them over
Don`t want a brand new spare going to auction

but the width ,profile , and wheel diameter are totally different ? Surely it would be best to keep them the same. And you don't mention the ET offset on the second wheel so it might not fit anyway ( could foul on the body)

I hadnt the offset info available at the time but its looks as though its ET43

Both should be centre bore size 56.6 and pcd 4x100

The GPS run 205/45/17 tyre sizes so size and width shouldn't be a problem.
However running such a different tyre size wont be the nicest to drive. But I presume this would only ever be used to get the driver home and around whilst a new tyre is being sourced/fitted?

If this is the case then there wasn't really any point in swapping it, as all being well all it will ever do is live in the boot. Essentially this is the type of thing that annoys people when buying cars second hand. Instead a pot of hammerite or the likes, or figuring out why there is enough moisture to make the spare rust would be a much better idea. Rant over :D

But in short yes it should fit should the time come. (y)

Yes it will only be used in an emergency

The current Punto (O11) spare is a rusty bucket from a scrappy
The Corsa (06) spare is brand new

I could keep the next buyer of the Punto happy, by removing either of the wheels as the car came with no spare or tools but a tin of foam
So with either wheel fitted they are much better off, in addition to the the jack and wheel brace I supplied

As far as the Corsa auction buyer goes, its up to them to look in the boot before bidding
A rusty spare wont prevent them using it.
