So I gave my car a good clean yesterday and thought why not remove the punto badge. Which I did only to find I now have the word punto in a dark orange. Stands out a mile and looks gash. Can any one recommend me a polish or something to take get rid of this or do I just put a new one back on ?

Wax and grease remover should do it.

A little bit of tar and glue TAG would help also then I would give the tailgate a nice polish and then a coat of wax ??

There's isn't any glue or any thing around it. I've gave it a good polish but it still remains there. I was thinking like a paint renovator or something like that?
