Hi there , has anyone changed their oil filter on their t jet ?? Just wondered if it was a tricky job , looks like its prob best to do from underneath , thanks , Dave
It's a nightmare to do, I tried to do it and failed miserably as it is in such an awkward spot. I ended up taking it to my local garage purely for that, if you can see where it is, you will see what i mean.
I've managed it, but **** is it awkward. Make sure you have the right size tool before starting otherwise it makes an already difficult job almost impossible.

Thanks guys , yeah I can see its in an awkward spot , was thinking about doing it from underneath , does the paper filter clip in to the lid that you unscrew or the housing , cheers

When I had mine I had the dealer service it and even then the technician took about 1hr to change the oil filter and much swearing! Good luck with yours.
I've had a look today at how I'm going to get to it , I removed the plastic pipe from the air box to the slam panel , unclipped the header tank hose off the back of the rad and unclipped the sensor with pipes off the rad and I got fairly clear access to remove it , I'm going to try taking the filter out on Thursday , I'll keep you informed lol , thanks again for your replies
