Hi guys I was on a few weeks ago so sorry if I'm going on. I've got an automatic punto which this morning the digital display is saying manual method unavailable, and to check handbook, though the handbook literally has no reference to this warning or any info on the warning light that is now flashing, literally nothing! Any ideas what this is as auto works fine and had this warning a month ago but after a minute or so it stopped and hasn't returned until this morning.

these dualogics are a pain in the butt!! i had one for around 3 years ..same thing always ..check transmission blah blah!! took it to FIAT they cld not find a fault ..the car gave up on me december! said i needed a new acuator £1300 ..i just srapped it ..got a ford fiseta now ..and thank god for it!! (may sound a bit extreme ..but if i was you get rid of it if you can ..it will only cost you who knows what!!
 
Thanks for the reply. Ouch that doesn't sound to good. It's working fine again but am guessing it will just keep happening then pack in all together, damn.
