Hello, I'm just wondering what the pack on top of my car battery is, it has a plus symbol on it.

Also how much on average is a new battery for a 2008 Fiat Grande Punto 1.2 petrol?

Don't know what the pack is you are speaking off but I would imagine it is just the positive terminal cover to stop it shorting out on metalwork etc. Try eurocarparts for a battery I recently bought one for my AGP and got a really good one for just under £70. Just type in your reg no and select batteries. ;-)

It's just a plastic cover to protect the fuses under it and show you that this is the positive terminal.
