Hello, sorry to jump in with my first post being a request for help.

First of all thanks for all the useful information and guides and what not!

I love my car - best thing i have ever owned. It has done 72000 miles and I have had it for 5 years. I thought I would change the turbo to a vl36 (abarth) as per the various posts around on here and get some more power out of it. Then a remap and it would keep me going for another 5 years. I do not intend on changing it and am considering never selling it, but that is besides the point.

I have a vl36 new turbo on order that is being sourced from italy. I cannot find the turbo fitting kit to go with it! Fiat parts want £87 - well one lot did, another wanted £110 which confused the hell out of me.

Can I just confirm that the vl36 is a straight swap with a vl37 turbo? (pretty sure it is).
If so are all the gaskets the same? Or do i need the gaskets from an abarth turbo punto when i order tehm from fiat? I am so confused! Thanks for any help :)
Anyone know of anyone selling kits? I am up to 8 emails and 9 hours of searching now.
Thanks.

Thanks for that - i have messaged him. The numbers will come in handy. Fiat said £87 to me and apparently I have to order a pack of 10 (oil feed gaskets) when I only want 4!!! Sheesh.

So i am still on the case for anyone who knows?

Thanks.

The oil feed gaskets are only little washers, i would just clean your original ones and reuse them

I just took my turbo off and refitted it, the only gasket im having trouble with sealing is the oil return straight out of the turbo which looks like a paper gasket with 3 holes in, all the others seal fine with the old washer type ones so I wouldn't waste money on them, just the 1 I mentioned.

Partsworld sell that gasket for a couple of quid, think its called a turbo oil seal or similar

Yeah thanks mate, just visited that company and found it on there, just type in turbo oil pipe clip and there it is for £0.99 RRP £6.20 and free postage, just ordered mine. Thanks middo85
