I bought a Grande Punto the other day and just have a couple of questions.


1. What's the little steering wheel button on the dash do?

2. What's the ASR (?) button on the dash do?

3. My gearstick is slightly sticky/stiff in 5 & 6 am I able to grease them so they move freely?

4. What size speakers will I need to change mine to better ones? Is there a list on here? I've tried looking but can't find anything.

5. This is a general question but on the app I can't find the guides but on the computer I can find the guides easily?

Sorry and what does tjet and mjet stand for?

Little steering wheel button actives city mode, basically makes your steering very light.

The ASR button switches on or off the ASR. With ASR switched off the car will wheel spin under heavy load from take off.

The gear stick I don't really know how to help.

With the app it really depends on which device you're using.

Mjet is the Turbo Diesel engines. T-Jet is the turbo petrol engines.

Mjet is available in 1.3, 1.6 and 1.9.

T-JET is a 1.4. Correct me people if I'm wrong about the engine configurations!
There is also the Starjet which is the 1.4 without turbo!

1: The little steering wheel button turns on the city mode for the power steering, which makes it go extremely light at speeds below 30mph.

2: I would assume that ASR is traction control, so that button would turn that on & off.

3: quite possibly.

4: The Grande Punto comes with a superb stereo as standard, so I wouldn't bother.

5: I can't help you on that 1, I'm afraid.

6: T-Jet means a 1.4 16v turbocharged petrol engine, and M-Jet is short for MultiJet. MultiJet is the name which Fiat gives to their range of turbodiesel engines.
