Hi all i was driving home the other day and got about 10 km from work when the engine warning light came on and the battery light flashed they stayed on for a few seconds then went off a message came up saying check engine. i continued driving as there was no where to pull over about 30 seconds after the engine light went off the car lost power and the revs dropped to 0 i pulled over and turned everything off when i tried to start back up again there was no response from the car.

Turned on the ignition and i got the following messages on the dash "have power steering checked", "ESP failure", "hill holder unavailable", "EBD failure", "ASR failure", ABS failure" the " Car protection system failure" light was also on. I tried a few times to start the engine but there was no response tried to jump the car and still nothing an one have any idea what might be wrong.

Electrical problem.
Check every cable from and to the battery (from the alternator, earth cables etc)
Also try an other battery don't just try to jump-start it.
