I can't seem to find an answer on this so apologies if it's been asked before. The indicators on my 2007 GP do not cancel after going around a corner, it's the same in both directions. Is this a common fault, if so, can it be fixed easily?

Thanks

Mine cancel themselves, but, if turning right, once I make the turn with right indicator on, it will flick the left one on for two ticks before cancelling

it should self-cancel.

But it depends on how much you turned the wheel in the first place.
If you only turn the wheel a small bit then you have to cancel it manually.

Looks like mine are faulty based on the replies so far. They're easy enough to cancel by hand and the warning beep is loud enough but it would still be nice to have them do it on their own. I see there are some other posts on here about problems with the indicator stalk. Now I now what they're supposed to do I'll have a poke around.

Many Thanks

Warning beep?? Do you have a tow bar fitted?

Yes they should cancel but there is some mechanical involvement between the steering column (usually the clock spring) and a lever on the indicator switch. It could be a problem in this mechanical linkage.

Worst case you need to take the steering wheel off which means the airbag
Airbags = danger and on the GP means poking holes in the back of the steering wheel to remove it

"Warning Beep" Sorry, probably my poor choice of words. I mean that there's the normal beep / buzz / tick etc when the indicators are flashing. I'll try a squirt of silicon lube in there first, probably followed by some contact cleaner if the lights stop working!
I read yesterday about getting the airbag off, quite honestly if it comes to that and there's no common fault / fix that comes to light I'll probably leave it alone as replacements for the stalk are quite expensive from what I've seen.
