Hi guys, just had my 1.3 multijet plugged in as I had a starting problem and flashing management light.
The problem was the starter but the ecu wouldn't reset and had the following codes: P1301, P0520, P0683 and P0481.
The garage said I need to take It to an auto electrician to sort. The car drives fine and the light has been flashing since the battery change four months ago. Can anyone help?

I'm not sure how long fault codes stay logged.
Some of these could be from the battery swap i suppose.

Now that you have these noted, have you considered clearing them and starting from scratch ?

They said they tried clearing them but they keeping coming back?

In which case the faults are apparent.
The odd thing is, all four codes appear totally unrelated.
Oil Pressure Switch, Cooling Fan, Boost Control and Glow Plugs.

I think, i'd start looking at possible earthing faults.
There have been issues where the fuse box under the bonnet has suffered corrosion problems due to water ingress.
So might be worth starting down that route first.

I have taken the battery and tray out and looked at fuse box but can't see anything obvious. Is there any common problem areas or earth's?
