OK.. so i've been thinking i might clean my top mount bearings ..check/replace if needed.. then re-grease.... but i have no idea what ype of grease would be best for this.. as the bearings move very little but they have the wight of the car always pressing on them.

So what type of grease would you recommend for the top mount bearings?

due to the low speed rotation but hight load i look for a PTFE or aka Teflon based grease

Thanks for that! I didn't even think about Teflon.... now to find some documentation on the matter.

I was thinking of Moly grease aka Molybdenum disulfide - MoS2
"This grease has been specifically adapted for extreme pressure applications and will provide superior protection of the metal parts in case of shock loading and extreme temperatures." ... seems about right

(sorry I deleted my previous post had to check something)

I thought bearings are non serviceable.
but... lithium based grease is fine. ( lithium EP...better!)

Moly grease is used in CV joints etc, so it's fine too.

Update:
I took apart only the driver's side top mount bearing, cleaned it and used some Moly grease.
I didn't take the other one apart because i saw signs of wear on the bearing races.. they were pitted. and the top mount itself had a crack.. so I'll just leave them like that until the spring and i'll replace the mounts then.
