Newbie here so bare with me please. My Daughter has a Grande Punto 2008 model, and it's a little ratty in the gear changes up and down under light to medium load.
1. Does anyone no if there are tweaks that can be done to the shift points and how?
2. Is there a maintenance manual for the control circuit for these vehicles?
3. Can the manuals be obtained for the gearbox?

My background is in building race cars(ground up), so these gboxes are a little out of my league without a reference manual for them.

Any way, all help would be appreciated.

AFAIK dualogic = selespeed...
if so then you can do different adjustments with Multiecuscan (fiat.alfa specific software -50€license- that works with a k-line and FLM327 cable -10 € from ebay) or take it to a Fiat specialist that has Examiner.
I suggest getting the cable and software... you can use it for so much more....

Hi Oswes, I do hope you don't mind me high jacking your thread but I own a 2055 punto mk2/2b with dualogic and am having a few problems with it I was very interested to read aurick 86 reply to you about the software, my question is if you don't mind is this the same for my punto?
Thanks again do hope that the info he posted helps you.

Thanks for that, however I live in Australia and I would rather try and find some real information as opposed to computer manipulations. Once you understand the system you can then understand what your changing. This is the difference between a parts changer and a real mechanic.

Ozwes, the dual logic is a manual gearbox with a hydraulic that does the clutch. Its all computerized, so the best way would be to do the software base unfortunately. I agree with your point on the difference between a proper mechanic and a parts changer but more than likely the best way to go with these is that software root :-(

Also if someone has replaced the clutch or any part of the clutch/gearbox, then the system needs to relearn it all again. This needs to be done by a reset via multiecuscan or official fiat software.

If your still having issues I'd consider re-learning the ecu and see how it goes (if had anything changed)
