I've just bought my first car, its a 57 plate red 1.2 fiat punto grande, I'm looking to start doing modifications and was just wondering where you all think I should start, I was thinking black wing mirrors, tinting windows, and badge less grill?

They're good mods especially on the red colour. I dont like badgeless grills myself but everyone else seems to :p

Maybe some new wheels? With the 1.2 you should only have 15 inch wheels, sometimes the official sporting alloys (17 inch) come up for sale and I think they look really good ;)

Yeah I think so just about to go remove the punto stickers in the back, as for the wheels I quite like what I have plus my budget isnt that big ATM

No probs, if you have alloys then you can paint them youself if you are adventerous enough. You may also want to paint the brake calipers a different colour.

As a really tiny mod, look at replacing the orange indicator bulbs in your headlights with chrome/silver ones. The bulbs cost peanuts, take a minute to fit and improve the look of the car loads!

I'm in the same boat, I've bought smoked side repeaters and some new stuff for the interior, looking to do a bit more to the exterior when my insurance comes down a bit

Can you link the gaitor and tell me how you did the calipars when you do it please? I'd like to do things like that but I don't really know much, willing to learn tho :p

Just ordered it from ebay mate, typed it in the search engine and came up!:)

Subtle mods are the best on a gp, nice exhaust lowered and 17" sporting alloys , keep it clean and shiny too,

Ps welcome to the forum

Thanks for the welcome! And it already has a brand new exhaust up to the manifold ;) , I have a few bits in the post, I'll post a some pictures when they are fitted :slayer:

I'm guessing your young or just passed your test? Iv done that to mine what I suggested to you, and is it a standard one or aftermarket?

Haha i am both of the above, and only a standard one but I'm only really concentrating on the aesthetics of the car for the minute, and as far as lowering I want to do but live in a area with loads of road humps so I don't see as practical ATM

I passed mine a year ago and was my first car, Iv got pics of it standard on my old thread, my user was ck247 and now pics of ot now on this user, much is your insurance if you don't mind me asking

Ah ill have to take a look! And it was 1350 which is cheap to what some people pay!
