So i was after a new exhaust for my 2006 1.2 dynamic, i didn't want to spend a tonne just as little as possible and to improve aesthetics mainly and obviously noise and brief performance would come with this.

After looking around the web the common easy ready made custom "Back box" for the GP is made by sportex and its had good reviews starting at £103 and going up to £150, all exhausts are single tips ranging from 2.5" to 4" and the 4" is available in a round tip, oval and "JAP" the exults have stainless tips and powder coated main bodies.

After thinking about it there was something holding me back and it was the fact is is a single tip, in my opinion it just wouldn't look right on a GP and the large 4" would be much more at home on a Honda civic, for this reason i wanted a twin tip (as seen on the Abarth) or a large "letter box" as this was the same size as two together if you understand me :).

so i took the advice of Reuuk and trundled of to the CYBOX website and £120 later plus postage it was ordered. I chose the G1 or "letter box" tip and didn't know what to expect, i was thinking either a round flat oval or a perfect square box, obviously id hoped for the oval.

The website was easy enough to use and no premium is paid for the different tips unlike sportex, my order was places and the delivery option was 48hour courier, 48 hours later i contacted them as there was nothing, i phoned Cybox and se apologised and said it was dispatched today for delivery tomorrow, however it came the day after tomorrow (Ordered Friday, called Wednesday, received Friday)

so it came via parcel force in a box with a bit of bulb wrap, well packed well its a lump of metal so what do you expect, no scratched or dents so im not complaining.

so i had a good look at it and i loved it for what i paid i didn't have a single complaint its perfect for what i want, and my aim was to do a drive way swap out, i started by trying to unbolt the back box clamp but it was a nightmare, anyway 5 hours and a toolbox of tools later it was free, its the worse think I've ever had to deal with!

The cybox is about 5Kg lighter thank the original and the join is easy with a clamp that comes included and yea took about 10 minutes to install of that after the pain of taking the old crap out, i jacked the car up with the car jack and used a parasol base as a axel stand and it did an incredible job :D:D

All in all the fitment took me 6 hours mostly attempting to get out the old lump, cost me nothing bar some time and a few packs of hula hoops and im very impressed and feel so satisfied with what I've achieved.

some pictures are below along with a link for the exhaust, i finished the install at 7PM and my driveway was floodlit so i dint have any picks on the car but will take some tomorrow and a video at some point!

If you have any Questions about the exhaust or install just ask away! :):)

Many thanks

Matt
