Hello,

My Grande Punto 1.9 M-Jet has had speaker wiring from drivers headlight to passenger headlight to make them both work, passenger headlight connector is now showing signs of being burnt

Is there something I can do to fix this other than going to an auto electrician?

Any advise will be a great help

Need to fix the fault with the original wiring. Each should be running through their own fuse from the fuse board

Does each headlight have it's own fuse? I thought they ran off the same one

Each headlight and each function have their own fuse, so 4 in total, 2 for each side, on for dipped beam and one for main. Under no circumstances should they be wired in the way it sounds like they are in you're car. Its asking for an electrical fire!
