Hey there. MrMurray20 has a blue GP with white wheels. Now he's finally lowered his GP it really pulls it off well. Well worth it!

Recently got a new phone so I have no pictures of it. Took a while but found this on fb from when springs were fitted, it's dropped a little more as springs have settled now. This was 55 mm. Bare in mind I have 16s so I still have a small amount of arch gap, it's a lot less than normal.
And if you looked at Wisey old car next to mine, he had 17s with 40 mm drop and I had 16s with 55mm.he had less arch gap but the body of mine sat just slightly lower.
White wheels on blue works everytime in my opinion you just gotta keep em clean. Car is dirty in the picture haha set a great example don't I.....

Very nice MrMurray20, just had a quote to get my alloys repaired and sprayed white...£100! Liking the chrome grilles, what did you do with the fog light grilles? Just spray them white? I like it

iirc the back window was limo (20%), rear sides were (35%) and front sides were technically illegal but margina. Probably dependant on the bobby that pulled me if i ever were to be (luckily wasnt).
Truth be told cant quite recal. I'll have a scan through my members motors thread and see if i can find some definitive numbers for you. It was couple years ago i had them done see.

The number escapes me. But i know my fronts were 'technically illegal', but if my rears were 80% (limo black), rear sides were 50% and fronts were 35%. Those figures i'm sure are how mine were sold to me anyway. Different companies work it differently too which doesnt help, depends which way around they put the %. Sounds odd i know, but my guy classed 80% as limo, but others would say 20%, if you follow :yuck:

Limo black is 5%
Mia is measures by the amount of light tht is let through there are no legal limit is on the back doors/windows and the rear window, the front doors must be a maximum of 70% and the front 70%, these are government figures and this is not checked on an mot so it's pretty much pointless!
My tints were done by an asian down a back alley. So legit figures were probably just sales spiel
He had his own business, and plenty of customers and did a good job, but he never instilled confidence in what he said. So thanks for clarity on the matter.Yeah not measured by MOT ect, but being pulled by the police is the issue i was concerned about :devil:
