Hello all


After hearing a clonking/clucking noise when breaking, and some shuddering, we've checked the brakes/discs/shoes with no obvious issues. However, by chance we've popped the bonnet and braked - low and behold! The engine is turning momentarily into a bucking bronco. It seems the engine mounts have gone.


We can see on the left hand side an engine mount, but presumably there will be at least one more if not a couple more - anyone quickly give us the location/s? First time had problems after upgrading from the punto mk2

There are 3 mounts.

One is very obvious on your left hand next to the timing belt cover.
The other one is under the battery tray (gearbox side) and last mount is under the car on the gearbox too.

I haven't done the 2 main mounts but I have had the rear mount out to fit a powerflex bush.
