Hi all, as the temperature has been dropping, i've been having to use the cars heater more.
When the heater is set to the face setting (so it blows on you, not the screen or feet) even on number 4, barely a puff of hot air comes from the vents, but it makes a hell of a racket (By barely a puff i mean you'd get more air if someone breathed on you!)
Is there a blockage that may exist?
Or is it just general Italian oversight?
Cheers :)

Personally, i'd remove the pollen/cabin filter as they server little purpose in my opinion.

A really noisy fan may also indicate rubbish in the fan blades.
Ours became noisy, and it turned out to be only a few leaves.

From under the dash/glovebox, there are only 3 screws holding the fan in place.
Undo 1 screw and remove a plastic trim.
Remove the 3 screws from the fan motor and clean out the debris.

Fitting the fan motor back in single handedly is tricky, but achievable, and just as well as there's no room for a second person anyway.

I doubt this would be the cause of the weak airflow though unless it's totally clogged.

I don't think removing the cabin filter is a good idea. When I replaced mine, one side of the filter was very dirty, full of small leafs etc. All that dirt without the filter could be stuck between heater core / AC fins.

I second the suggestion of changing the pollen filter. I once had a car who's air con was pathetic in summer and who's heater was pathetic in winter. I put up with that for 18months before I discovered the filter was the original one fitted at the factory 5 years ago (despite being a service replacement item and the car having full franchised dealer service history); a new filter transformed the ventilation system.
