Hi, my idiot younger brother opened my filler flap for a "joke" one night and with it being pitch black I couldn't see it had been opened, walked into it and snap, off it comes. It can't be reattached so I need a whole new flap which probably includes the black plastic housing that is held in with that philips screw.

Fitting it isn't an issue as I have already consulted a tutorial and it looks very easy, what I AM struggling with is locating a filler flap. I have a 56 plate Grande Punto in New Orleans blue, the dark blue for those who don't know. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it highly.

Try a local scrap yard. Cheaper plus you can get one already painted.

snapped off where? youngests mk2 punto came apart - same issue of colour and the fact 3 door puntos are different to 5 doors - ended up judicious use of a dremel to thin out the existing flap and a cut off from an e bay flap attached with araldite and 2 years down the line still works fine
