Hi guys,

Im looking into getting my wheels re done but just can't decide on what looks best. I've got the 1.9 sporting and the original wheels. When I bought the car the dealer " refurbed " the wheels but he actually just sprayed over them with a silver spray paint and is starting to flake off after only 4 weeks.

I've got the blue punto so whats people opinions as to whats the best colour to go with these?

Silver, anything else looks too aftermarket.

Anyone got any pictures of there blue punto with " coloured " wheels on?

I do like the silver but just would like something a little different

And I'd be going back to the dealer if the 'refurb' has failed after a month.

Yeah I'm tempted to go back but the dealer is basically a 2 hour drive away and all they'll probably do is just spray over them again... Think they need properly sandblasting down and starting from scratch... There's no kurbing or anything like that it's literally just peeling off ....

When cleaning dont be using any alloy cleaner or a pressure washer on them wheels then mate if its all just simply peeling off.

See if they'll do a proper job on them for you, they ought to really. If you can then it's worth the drive.

Looks good! Would just be a pain with keeping them white!!

No more often than the rest of the car, but then again I don't overly use the brakes like a lot of people seem to.
