Hi everyone, haven't posted much since getting my 09 TJet in March, kept meaning to.

Anyway, have a problem. Probably something stupid like me buying the wrong cable but it's puzzled me. I went out and bought the cable in the pictures below from what I read on various webpages to try and add an aux as my blue and me adapter does not work :| (see my post in blue and me section).

Basically I was hoping someone would be able to point out what I'm doing or have done wrong by the pictures. Thanks in advance, Rob.

On the fourth pic? Basically the first pic is the cable I have, it shows the two ends of the cable that I have. Which is the one I thought I needed?

yeah sorry bud it is the 4th one, so that blue plug on the 4th pic is your new aux lead?

And nothing is happening? Strange, you have pressed cd twice havnt you? The one i have is exactly the same although mine is yellow not blue but i dont see colour being a difference haha

I think so, will double check. Is yours in the same place as mine in the back of the head unit? Far right hand side by the fuse?

yes bud exactly the same place, all i did was plugged it in, pressed cd twice and all was good! If not just give it a blow, might just be as simple as abit of dust or something

I've tried that now, quick clean as well and has made no difference. Even tried it in the other side where the pins actually say 'aux' on the diagram (pic 3)

I've taken these pictures with my iPad whilst playing music and plugged into the aux end of the cable:

Tried pressing the CD button twice, just comes up with the same 'no source available' as when pressing it once :/

Ah, does that mean I have the wrong cable?

May do, do you have blue and me? Cables won't work if you do, will need the Fiat accessories aux device.

I have the yellow cable which works but my blue and me is uninstalled, however for some reason sometimes it works sometimes it say no source, seems to do what it likes :')

But try the yellow one.

Ah okay. I do have blue and me yes which is the ideal setup although I paid £50 for the adapter and it didn't work. Tries all the usual like updating firmware etc and still didn't work, tried it in various other cars and with various iPhones and didn't work - I did start a thread in blue and me section but it has attracted little interest.

What is the fiat accessories aux device btw?

And thanks for the reply, clicked 'reply' a second too early then aha!

Sorry bud, ermm, yeah its abit strange with that blue cable but if you type in fiat grande punto aux on ebay, its the first one you see, same as yours but yellow ens, £5.99 and you should have no problems atall with it

No mate i dont, i just went for the yellow one straight away and it worked bang on

Okay then thanks, I'll get a yellow one ordered. What pins did you put it in btw? The very far right by the fuse, like on the 4th pic?
