So anyway tonight my 1.9 has started making a noise i can't quite explain... It sounds like when an exhaust is blowing but it's coming from the engine to me it sounds like it's near the turbo but I have no loss in power smoke etc....

It also is making a whistling noise when the revs drop which is different from the usual turbo noise.

From what I have read it could be either a fault with the egr valve... The turbo pipe or the turbo on its way out

Any suggestions???
