Hello All,
I'm new to the forumn, but it's appreciate your thoughts. My daughter Punto's is a 2007 model, well cared for and has done just 80,000 km. Last week it dropped into neutral whilst driving and 'transmission fault' appeared on the screen. We managed to tow it to our friendly garage who completed all of the usual checks (battery style reset / fluid levels etc), no luck.
The car today was taken to Fiat for further analysis and they say it needs a new clutch and actuator, at a total cost of $4950 ! (The car only cost $7000 last December) is this type of fault common and is that price normal..??
Cheers
